据报道，在越南国家主席阮明哲访日期间，日本住友商事与越南rirama公司目签署了在越南投资建设燃煤火电站备忘录。
根据该建设项目，住友商事将投资在越南中北部的河静省建设2座装机68万千瓦的发电站，该电站预定于2011年建成并发电。该项目预计总投资将超过10亿美元。
