近日，神华新疆68万吨/年煤基新材料项目气化装置正式开工。
该项目位于新疆乌鲁木齐甘泉堡工业区，总投资198亿元，采用GE煤气化及SHMTO技术，建设180万吨/年甲醇、68万吨/年MTO装置、32万吨/年LDPE、36万吨/年PP等。
项目于2011年11月奠基，计划2016年建成投产。
